Kalamata’s International Dance Festival

Kalamata is a city with rich dancing traditions suitable for those who want travel for the purpose of enjoying and learning about dance as it hosts the prestigious International Dance Festival that was founded in the spring of 1995 to support and promote the art of dance.

Still, after 26 years, the festival is considered one of the most significant dance festivals of the Mediterranean, globally recognized for its creativity.

This year the 27th International Dance Festival of Kalamata will be occuring from 16th to 25th of July under the inspiring title: “A land for dance”.

Amid the corona pandemic, primary goal of the Festival is to ensure the safety of the public while following thoroughly all the ygeionomic protocols.
