Flight Connections

The North Aegean Region has 5 operating civil airports on the five largest islands (Limnos, Lesvos, Chios, Samos, Ikaria).
Each airport, apart from that of Ikaria, is connected to several international destinations.

Samos
Samos has a large airport servicing operating domestic and international flights.
The surface of the terminal is 7,000m2 with runway dimensions 2,100mx45m.
It is part of the Fraport network which is upgrading it.

Lesvos
Lesvos has a large airport in Mytilini operating both domestic and international flights.
The surface of the building is 3,000m2 and the dimensions of the runway (length x width) are 2.406mx45m.
The airport is also part of the Fraport network which is upgrading it.

Chios
Chios Airport is connected to Slovenia and the following domestic destinations: Athens, Thessaloniki, Limnos, Lesvos, Samos.
The airport terminal has surface of 800m2, while its runway is 1500m long and 30m wide.

Limnos
Limnos Airport connects with countries such as the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and domestic airports, such as Athens, Thessaloniki, Mytilini the capital of Lesvos, Ikaria, Chios, Rhodes, Samos.
Its premises have surface of 6500m2 and its runway is 3016m long and 45m wide

Ikaria
Ikaria Airport mainly operates domestic flights at the moment, namely to Athens, Thessaloniki, Limnos.
Its runway is 1381m long and 30m wide.
